1. Manager Retail Category & Sponsorships

Job Scope

The Manager Retail Category & Sponsorships will be responsible for developing long-term retail category strategies. This includes optimizing product positioning, pricing, and promotions to maximize brand visibility and revenue. The role also entails managing category budgets, performance, and leading sponsorship initiatives to enhance the corporate brand’s range and ensure consistent branding across all touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement integrated marketing plans and brand campaigns in collaboration with category teams.
  • Oversee the Sponsorship Portfolio to drive brand mileage through digital branding, branding installations, and event venue initiatives.
  • Ensure all sponsorship-related events and initiatives are executed efficiently, effectively delivering the corporate brand identity.
  • Own marketing campaigns from ideation to execution, ensuring successful implementation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to monitor product prices, remain competitive, and optimize pricing strategies.
  • Analyze the value chain, competitive landscape, and competitor marketing activities to grow market share.
  • Oversee branding, advertising, and promotional campaigns for the retail category at major industry events.
  • Manage relationships and executions with external agencies (PR, advertising, design, etc.), delivering quality output while minimizing costs.
  • Identify new brand marketing channels for future growth and develop comprehensive brand communication strategies.
  • Manage the marketing mix (product, price, place, promotion, people, presentation) across the portfolio.
  • Maintain a competitive brand position and continuously adjust marketing plans to meet changing market conditions.
  • Take full ownership of the assigned category, including budget, revenue growth management, research, and future opportunities.
  • Measure, report, and gain insights from marketing campaign performance.

Education & Experience

  • Education: Minimum 16 years of education, preferably a Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field from an HEC-recognized or equivalent foreign institution.
  • Experience: Minimum 6-7 years of professional experience, preferably in a large national or multinational organization.

Requirements & Age

  • Analyze brand positioning and consumer insights.
  • Translate brand elements into strategic plans and go-to-market strategies.
  • Oversee marketing and advertising activities.
  • Monitor product distribution and consumer reactions.
  • Align the company around the brand’s direction and tactics.
  • Age: Preferably not more than 35 years as of the application deadline.

2. Manager Research

Job Scope

The Manager Research will lead research initiatives to generate actionable insights on consumer behavior, market trends, and competition. This role is crucial for translating complex data into strategic recommendations that support business growth. The manager will lead a research team and communicate findings to senior stakeholders to enable data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Research Planning: Develop and execute research plans to gather insights on consumer behavior, preferences, and needs.
  • Data Analysis & Storytelling: Analyze complex data sets (customer feedback, sales data, market trends) to develop comprehensive insights and decision-making techniques.
  • Market Monitoring: Track market developments, competitor activity, and industry trends to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Insights Generation: Develop actionable insights and strategic recommendations to drive business growth and innovation.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and provide development opportunities for the research team.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Methodology Development: Continuously refine research methodologies, tools, and processes to ensure high-quality insights.

Education & Experience
