The Science & Information Technology Department, Government of Sindh, in collaboration with Mehran University of Engineering & Technology (MUET), Jamshoro, is inviting Expressions of Interest (EOIs) from qualified institutions and organizations. This initiative is part of the People’s Information Technology Programme (PITP-II) and aims to provide classroom and logistic facilities for IT training courses across various districts in Hyderabad and Mirpurkhas divisions.

This program plays a vital role in promoting digital literacy and providing youth with the essential skills to compete in the modern job market. Institutions that meet the specified requirements are encouraged to apply and become part of this groundbreaking digital initiative.
Target Districts for PITP-II Training Classes
The training program will cover multiple districts across the Hyderabad and Mirpurkhas divisions. The areas include:

This wide geographical coverage ensures that youth from different regions gain access to advanced IT training and modern facilities.
Scope of Services
Institutions providing logistic services for PITP-II training classes must ensure the following facilities and support:
Computer Lab/Classroom Minimum of 35 functional computers ready for use. Reliable Internet & Multimedia High-speed internet connectivity, multimedia setup, and power backup facilities. Basic Amenities Toilets, drinking water, security arrangements, accessibility features, and parking facilities. Capacity for Hosting Students Ability to host at least 50 students per course for a duration of 2 months. On-Ground Support Dedicated support for trainers, including IT/lab assistance and administrative facilitation.
These requirements ensure smooth operations and a conducive learning environment for all participants.
Important Notes for Interested Institutions
Physical Verification: MUET will conduct a physical verification of facilities before approval. Preference for Larger Capacities: Institutions with bigger capacities and better-equipped facilities will be given priority. Commitment for Entire Training Cycle: Providers must commit for the full 2-month training cycle. Mid-cycle withdrawal will not be allowed. Right to Reject Proposals: MUET reserves the right to partially or wholly reject or cancel any proposal without prior notice. Shortlisted Institutions Only: Only those institutions that meet the criteria will be contacted.
